The BMW subscription service pilot program has officially reached American shores and is set to offer a more flexible alternative to automotive ownership. Launching in Nashville, Tennessee, the pilot program will be offering users the option to choose between several BMW models depending on the tier they favor. At $2,000 a month, the 'basic' Legen tier, users can choose from the M2, 4 Series, 5 Series and the X5. For $3,700 per month, the performance-minded M tier, the options include the M4 convertible, M5, M6 convertible, X5M and X6M.
The German automaker has stressed that the 'Access' BMW subscription service is still in its testing phases, and is primarily a chance for the brand to learn. While the program is set to being in Nashville, BMW hopes to expand to other cities to garner more information and perfect the burgeoning subscription service.
