British company iFi Audio has launched a set of high-tech Bluetooth modules that are designed to make it possible for you to combine the twin functionalities and conveniences of wireless listening with the kind of high-fidelity audio that is typically only associated with high-end wired headphones.
The Go pods are effectively digital-to-analog converts (DAC) and headphone amplification Bluetooth modules that are sold in pairs. When listeners receive the package, all they have to do is remove the cable from each of the included units and go about attaching a Go pod, each of which is said to be able to guarantee up to seven hours of Bluetooth playback.
The Go pods on their own will be available for purchase for a price of $399, with buyers able to shell out $29 in order to receive compatible ear loops.
