The Spiro X1 is a Bluetooth adapter that can transform regular cable headphones into Bluetooth cans. The concept was borne out of a hackathon held at the University of Pennsylvania.
This adapter has been designed to work with all devices compatible with Bluetooth 4.0. It has a multi-function button that can be used for playback control and to answer calls. An LED light informs users when the headphones are in wireless mode, and when they might need to charge the battery via micro-USB. Users simply need to unplug their audio cable from their headphones, plug in the Spiro X1 and power up, before pairing the headphones with a source player
