The new special edition Koenigsegg CCXR supercar has the auto world buzzing; apparently, the 1018HP vehicle could top the Bugatti's Veyron as the world's fastest car! These are the first photos of the production version which is said to be able to run on biofuel.
"The burning of ethanol in biofuel has the positive side effect of cooling the combustion chambers. This combined with a higher octane rating provides the enviro-friendly supercar with 1,018hp at 7,200rpm and peak torque of 1,060Nm at 6,100rpm," AutoSpies said.
Why anyone would want to go from 0-100 in 2.9 seconds, and travel at top speeds of 400 km/h is beyond me, but I'm sure luxury car aficionados and speed demons will be drooling over this one!
