The Bioalcohol Fireplace Brings the Heat Anywhere and Anytime
Matt Ho — September 20, 2011 — Art & Design
The words "portable" and "compact" aren't usually adjectives that come to mind when describing a fireplace, and yet, the Bioalcohol Fireplace by Safretti achieves this feat with ease.
Safretti's Bioalcohol Fireplace is an interesting mechanism that employs a modern, minimalist design that's slightly deceptive. Leave it flattened, it looks like an ordinary steel brick. However, push down on either side and flames will rise out of it. As its name suggests, the fireplace is fueled by bioalcohol, which is more efficient and sustainable than regular fuel. The burner has about 2 liters of fuel and has about six to eight hours of burning time.
The Bioalcohol Fireplace brings heat to the home anywhere and anytime without the hassle of dealing with a chimney.
