Microsoft Adds a New AI-Fuelled Voice to Bing Chat on Desktops
Microsoft is now launching a new chat feature to its Bing Chat platform on the search engine on Edge for Pcs. This is powered by OpenAI's GPT-4 technology features and in a preview release, the company notes that "We know many of you love using voice input for chat on mobile."
The new feature was first available on the mobile apps but now it is rolling out onto desktop as well. To activate the feature, users need to tap on the microphone motif in the Bing Chat box to speak to the bot. Additionally, it is able to support multiple languages including Mandarin, English, Japanese, German, and French. Microsoft also states that there will be support for more languages to come.
