In Santa Monica California, billboard wars have broken out with Audi vs. BMW. The two raged a print war against one another earlier on in the year, and now they are back at it again.
Audi quickly erected another billboard in protest of BMW's dominance in an effort to save face. In this latest billboard, Audi has released their newest pride and joy super car with the caption "your pawn is no match for our king." BMW has now printed a picture of their F1 racing car on a zeppelin that is attached to its competitors billboard, the caption this time stating, "Game over."
These Audi vs. BMW billboards demonstrate the high competition within the auto industry, and also shifting marketing tactics.
