The Big Rooftop Tea & Golf Party is made for Brits and dessert lovers alike. Held by London department store Selfridges, it is part of their Big British Bang summer event, which celebrates all things Brit in light of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee and the 2012 Summer Olympics. Aside from being one big rooftop party, the main attraction is the 9-hole golf course made entirely out of cake.
Designed by British food architects, Sam Bompas and Harry Parr, The Big Rooftop Tea & Golf Party's Crazy Golf is made up of famous London landmarks such as Buckingham Palace, St. Paul’s Cathedral and Tower Bridge. Each landmark has been recreated in jelly, icing and fondant. After working up an appetite playing golf, people can move onto the 'highest tea on Oxford Street.'
