It is made by Electrolyte, a German company that specialises in custom-built and low-maintenance e-bikes. The Bergblitz S9E features a sleek and integrated design, with a Bosch Performance CX mid-drive motor, a Bosch PowerTube 750 battery, and a Rohloff hub gear with 14 speeds. The bike also has a Gates CDX belt drive system, which eliminates the need for chain lubrication and adjustment. The frame of the Bergblitz S9E is compatible with various accessories, such as luggage racks, mud guards, and suspension forks, allowing riders to configure the bike according to their preferences and needs.

The Bergblitz S9E is available in three sizes: Small, Medium, and Large. The base weight of the bike is 24 kilograms (53 pounds), but it can vary depending on the chosen components and add-ons. The base price of the bike is 7,790 euros (around $8,527 USD), but it can go up to 10,000 euros (approximately $10,946 USD) for the most premium build.
