Bed Ideas is definitely not a bad idea. It is a bedside lamp that encourages people to record their late night thoughts and ideas. It is undeniable that as the day's stress melts away to give way to sleep, there is a magic moment that people experience in which the best ideas are born. Or so they believe when they wake up and forget such genius. Bed Ideas hopes to avoid such missed opportunities.
Created by Portugal-based design studio Apicula, Bed Ideas is essentially a wooden board with the silhouette of a classic incandescent light bulb cut out of it. Attached to a cord, it embedded LEDs provide a soft glow perfect for the bedroom. Bed Ideas also offers a fabric strip that can hold a stack of post-its and a pen.
