The least I can say about this collection of poems is, WOW! The “Because the kids don’t play” collection is an area of subject matter that you would never dwell on until it’s put into your face.
This generational outcry targets (not directly, but you can figure it out) parents and the media with a lot of force. These poems are juxtapositions in search of accountability among the authority figures when dealing with the younger crowd.
