Colección Estudio works in collaboration alongside Difane on the new Basurto stool collection to celebrate the architectural style of Mexico City during the mid-20th century. The two describe every single piece in the collection as being “a miniature abstraction of the buildings from that period,” defined by its volumes, symmetry, lines, and shapes that represent the city.
The stools are meant to embody the cultural elements of Mexico through the very essence of the design whilst contributing to the global design scene. The structural looks have geometric themes with a rounded surface that functions at the seat. Some of the stools have a dynamic sphere or more details that rest between the legs of the base.
