London's Covent Garden is home to the newest Barnaby shop which has been designed by Morristudio and architecture firm Built Works. The brand produces elevated chocolate bars inspired by childhood goods and the space aims to reflect that same notion with a timeless appeal of the products.
Morris set up his studio after he was a design editor at Monocle magazine and in works with the branding agency Winkcreative. He shares, "We tried to create something relatively serious but high on charm. A lot of current confectionery brands are aimed at Gen Z – big on colour, bling, shiny things. We wanted to appeal to a slightly older crowd – someone for whom the nostalgia of a typical chocolate bar would resonate – to create a longer lasting consumer base."
