This 77-story glass tower is the brainchild of German architect Ole Scheeren of Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA).
The MahaNakhon building by OMA is quite eye-catching because the building is created to look like it is coming apart. From afar, the building certainly appears to be crumbling.
Due to be completed in 2010 in Bankok, Thailand, the MahaNakhon building by OMA will contain a public plaza, retail space, 200 homes, a hotel, bar and restaurant.
Implications - Controversial and provocative imagery is a great way for companies to attract attention from audiences and critical media. These types of advertising and products are effective in distinguishing one business from another in a manner that is memorable to consumers.
