Scientists Have Stumbled Upon a Potential Baldness Cure
Renee Ramsarran — February 17, 2011 — Tech
A team of UCLA scientists investigating the effects of stress on the intestinal system may have accidentally stumbled upon a baldness cure. For now, this hair-raising discovery is said to work only on mice, but there is the potential for it to promote hair growth for humans. UCLA Researchers confirmed in a statement: “Our findings show that a short-duration treatment with this compound causes an astounding long-term hair re-growth in chronically stressed mutant mice.”
So as mice continue to accidently grow hair, humans who suffer from hair loss will anxiously await the next development towards the baldness cure.
