Garmin recently debuted its APK™ 10 Autopilot Keypad, which serves to enhance the precision and user experience of the brand's Reactor™ 40 autopilot.
Garmin emphasizes simplicity and tactile design in its APK 10 Autopilot Keypad. The product boasts a rotary knob that allows one to achieve precise heading control. Dedicated 'engage' and 'stand-by' buttons, on the other hand, make it extremely easy for one to toggle the autopilot's on and off functions. There are two multipurpose buttons, as well, that will help boaters customize the APK 10 Autopilot Keypad to different settings that best fit any boat.
Garmin's product can be mounted either vertically or horizontally. The installation is also pretty streamlined as the keypad can connect to a boat's NMEA® 2000 network with a single port and another cable for power.
