The Auka Laptop Stand is Flexible and Lightweight
Michael Hines — December 6, 2011 — Art & Design
Simple and elegant are perhaps the best words to describe the Auka laptop stand. This curvy wood stand was designed by William van den Brink of the Netherlands. The stand features two levels: the top for the laptop and the bottom for storing computer peripherals.
The stand places the laptop up and at an angle and is designed to be used in conjunction with a cordless mouse and keyboard. The stand is made out of plywood, which makes it both lightweight and flexible. Excess heat is vented out of the Auka laptop stand's backside preventing the stand from becoming too hot and wrecking your laptop. As more and more people begin to work online, there will be an increased need for simple and functional laptop stands like the Auka.
