AT&T Launches the HTC Status for Diehard Social Media Users
Lu Ann Pannunzio — July 2, 2011 — Tech
Together, AT&T and HTC have launched their new smartphone, the HTC Status. Unlike other smartphones, the Status has a social feature: a dedicated Facebook button. It’s the first-ever device with a Facebook share button.
With the click of a button, the Status will take you directly to your Facebook profile. Consumers are now able to share what they're doing easily because the HTC Status is aware of their location and apps used. Although prices and release dates have yet to be announced, it's considered the most socially outgoing phone in the market thus far.
Rumor has it that Telus will have the HTC Status on its network for all of you Canadians who might be interested in this new smartphone.
