The Sony IMX487 ultraviolet (UV) sensor-equipped 'Atlas10' camera from LUCID Vision Labs, Inc., is now in production. The ‘ATX081S-UC 10GigE PoE+ UV’ camera can capture images in the ultraviolet light spectrum between 200 and 400 nm thanks to its high UV sensitivity 8.1 MP Sony IMX487 global shutter CMOS sensor. The camera boasts an array of advanced features, including Active Sensor Alignment for excellent optical performance, Power over Ethernet (PoE+), M12 and M8 connectors, and a broad operating temperature range of -20°C to 55°C.
“The Atlas10 UV offers excellent sensitivity in the UV wavelength and is packed with industrial features designed to provide high-speed and reliable operation in challenging environments,” says Rod Barman, President at LUCID Vision Labs. “The Sony IMX487 offers improved quantum efficiency, high dynamic range and reduced noise, enabling high-quality imaging for a broad range of advanced sensing applications.”
