London-based social brand Goldfinger works together with Tate Modern and architecture studio Holland Harvey to present the Ash furniture collection. This is made for the gallery's Corner Cafe and is defined by its minimal design language. It is made up of a bench, stool, and dining table using a fallen ash tree, as referenced in its namesake. This is selected to honor the elegance of the native British wood.
Associate at Goldfinger, Lisa Werner states, “In collaborating with Holland Harvey and Tate Modern, I think we all saw the wide appeal of the sleek and bold design, the ash rescue story, as well as being able to own a piece of Tate Modern. This is Tate’s first foray into furniture and celebrating their commitment to sustainably-minded partners at the outset is really impactful for the commercial market.”
