The Colorware Retro iMac Mimics the Aesthetic of the Apple IIe
Michael Hemsworth — March 19, 2016 — Art & Design
Today's consumers can't get much done without a powerful computer, so the Colorware Retro iMac is designed after the likeness of the Apple IIe with the technology of today.
Packing the components of a 27-inch Retina iMac, the Colorware Retro iMac is designed to operate like a brand new unit you'd purchase from the Apple store. However, the exterior of the Colorware Retro iMac would have you thinking otherwise. The casing has been completely augmented to copy the likeness of the Apple IIe complete with a beige paint job, faux exhaust vents and of course the rainbow Apple logo.
The Colorware Retro iMac is extremely limited-edition with a mere 25 units of the design being brought to life.
