Spencer Rezkalla Completes an Impressive 19-Square-Feet LEGO Model
Kalin Ned — October 3, 2018 — Life-Stages
Automotive engineer Spencer Rezkalla takes LEGO fandom to a different level with his block rendition of the Apple headquarters in the Santa Clara Valley in California. The impressive model is informed by drone footage that Rezkalla discovered in 2014. Captivated by Foster + Partners' ring-shaped low-rise, the automotive engineer embarked on a LEGO version of the project. Paying attention to both main and ancillary buildings, Spencer Rezkalla includes "large areas of surrounding foliage" which adds a degree of detail and authenticity to the model.
The Apple headquarters LEGO measures at 19 square feet and weighs approximately 77.5 pounds. The majority of the design is informed by aerial photographs of the site. Spencer Rezkalla's creation is truly a fantastic representation of the high-tech character of the Apple headquarters.
