Richard Schaefer is a one-man show who has created a fantastic series of Disney-themed androgynous photographs. While currently a costume design student at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles, it is evident that he is a die-hard Disney fan and incredibly talented too.
In this series of photos, Schaefer successfully recreated some of his favorite male and female Disney characters. He constructed these looks by creating all of the costumes himself, purchasing and assembling specific pieces like wigs and other accessories. Some of the characters include Snow White, Cinderella and Ariel (alongside their subsequent princes).
Schaefer has done an amazing job in recreating both sexes in this Disney-themed series. This collection is a great addition to 'cosplay' culture, alongside androgynous photography, that is frankly stellar.
