Canadian designer Rad Hourani makes clothes for people who like smart fashion, with the RAD Fall 2011 line as a perfect example. The Fall/Winter 2011 line refuses to follow fashion rules. When creating his second label RAD, Hourani made a line with casual fit, luxury fabrics and styles that can be worn for several seasons. The real brilliance to the RAD Fall 2011 line is its unisex look, so couples can share clothing. Many of the offerings are designed so that they convert into several different looks. Fewer items that offers wearers several different looks taking up less closet space is smart dressing.
Hourani's designs have been considered art pieces and his first solo exhibition will be held at Galerie Joyce Palais Royal Paris. The show is entitled Transclassic, and the silhouettes are so modern that they will become the new classic dress. One with an eye for fashion could see people wearing these styles as far back as the 1980s, and all the way into the distant future.
One of the designs being shown at Transclassic is a single jacket that may be worn 10 different ways. Hourani's clothing incorporates both traditional and unconventional clothing fabrics, making the RAD Fall 2011 line a sleek, sexy collection.
