'Analogue' originally unveiled its 'Analogue Pocket Console' in October of 2019. This week, on December 14th at 8 am, the Analogue Pocket is available for public purchase. This console is small and portable with a similar layout to Nintendo's 'GameBoy Color.' That means the Analogue Pocket only has four face buttons, a four-directional pad, and three menu buttons.
This console, while it resembles a GameBoy, it can natively play retro game console cartridges from the GameBoy, GameBoy Color and GameBoy Advance, while it can support 'Sega Game Gear,' 'Neo Geo Pocket/Color,' and 'Atari Lynx' cartridges with an adapter. The Analogue Pocket is available in Black and White editions which both retail for $219.99 USD. The console comes with a USB-C cable for charging and does not come with any games installed, the cartridges must be provided by the consumer.
