In an effort to expand the e-commerce giant's reach, Amazon recently announced the launch of Amazon Book Club. As its name suggests, these virtual book clubs will allow users to create, manage and join book clubs through Amazon's online tools.
While the Amazon Book Clubs are still in its "early access" stage, currently all Amazon accounts are able to join a club for free but a limited number of users have the ability to create a new club. By offering early access to all Amazon customers, the brand can test out features before the official release, collect feedback and improve the tool when it's officially released.
Amazon announced it will release new features over the coming months and will all customers to create clubs in 2021.
