The Altice One is an interesting home device that brings together a modem, router and streaming box all into one package. Created by Altice USA, the Altice One provides users with broadband Internet, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) telephone service, digital TV and a group of networks providing news, weather and more. The device features full integration with the US service provider Optimum to offer Cloud DVR recordings and Ultra HD video.
While several devices offer similar features as the Altice One, none of those tools manage to combine peripherals like the Altice One. The ability to centralize Internet connection, wireless access points and steaming services is amazing and easily turns three devices into a single unit. The drawback of the Altice One seems to be the Internet connection over distance, but this issue is easily remedied with the Altice One Mini, which not only extends the wireless range but also enables TV and streaming capabilities to other rooms.
