This small alternative energy device is capable of turning polluted air into energy. Invented by researchers from the University of Antwerp and the KULeuven, the handheld gadget only needs to be exposed to light to start working and has been compared to solar panels in regards to its green potential.
The alternative energy device consists of two chambers -- one for purifying air and the other produces hydrogen gas. This gas can be stores and used for fuel purposes. This not only provides a power source, but is also a way to clean air.
