THQ Nordic Confirms the Reboot of 'Alone In The Dark' for PC and Console
THQ Nordic has announced that it will be launching a reboot of the popular ‘Alone In The Dark’ game for consoles and PC. The game, which was released in 1992, will be refreshed with new graphics and writing with the help of Soma and Amnesia: The Dark Descent writer Mikael Hedberg, as well as game designer Guy Davis. ‘Alone In The Dark’ is described as a survival horror game that follows the journey of private investigator Edward Carnby, who has come to investigate the haunted mansion and surrounding areas.
An official release date for the rebooted version has yet to be confirmed, but THQ Nordic says the game has been in development for over 3 years now and is set to debut sooner than later. ‘Alone In The Dark’ will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
