Ally Financial has expanded its partnership with BLAST-operated Rocket League Esports to create more opportunities for women within the esports scene. This collaborative effort will include launching three exclusive women-only tournaments throughout the year alongside a co-ed event, boasting an impressive total prize pool of $75,000 (~£59,300). These tournaments will be hosted in both North America and Europe.
Building on its successful esports sponsorship debut in February last year, Ally Financial has continued to forge partnerships across various gaming titles such as Fortnite, Animal Crossing, and Minecraft. As part of the collaboration, Ally will also be integrated into the Star Showdown Chasers tournament series, a quarterly competition designed to crown the top women's team in each region.
Additionally, Ally Financial will gain visibility and exposure throughout critical events within the RLCS circuit, including the North American Open Qualifiers, Copenhagen Major, London Major, and World Championship broadcasts.
