The Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star '70 is a product of the flower child decade, and is proud of it.
In this new color pack, the All-Star '70 shows off its groovy origins with some retro space-themed patterns. In the first colorway, the All-Star '70 sports a black, red and white geometric pattern. The retro-inspired sneaker is covered in abstract rectangular configurations reminiscent of the Star Wars films (the original was released in 1977). It's treated in reflective 3M polish to mimic the shine of a spacecraft's hull, and its outsole is done in a marbled grey rubber inspired by the surface of the moon.
The second All-Star '70 space colorway features an off-white and pale orange pattern. It takes its inspiration from the balloons astronauts use to descend back into the earth's atmosphere upon re-entry from outer space.
