You probably wouldn't be able to guess all of the various features that this all-in-one wall unit integrates. At a glance, one would realistically be able to identify a light or two, a tiny flower pot, and perhaps the evidence of a small cloud of steam. But what is this elaborate object, really?
Designed by Lucy Yip, this concept domestic apparatus combines a nightlight, a reading light, a digital clock, a spectral thermometer, a planter, a teeny whiteboard and a compact humidifier, all fixed to a round mounted bracket. Together the components fit snugly into a complex but optically balanced object. Another feature that one might not expect of this all-in-one wall unit is that you can remove the various parts and arrange them elsewhere in the room, making this practical abstraction both modular and customizable.
