Alien Eye is a conceptual device whose purpose is to save the world globe from obscurity. The Alien Eye comes in two parts: a world globe covered in RFID codes, and the eye itself, an Internet-connected display that reads the aforementioned codes. The Alien Eye processes each code, representing a different region of the world, displaying images and information about the area from the Internet.

Designers Hsin Ya Huang and Kai Lang Huang created the device to get kids interested in learning geography again. Learning about the outside world is as important now as it ever was, and there is still a place for globes, even in today's high-tech society. Here's hoping the Alien Eye can go from concept to reality in time to save the world globe from extinction.
