adidas Originals Joined for a New Alexander Wang Collaboration
Riley von Niessen — March 29, 2017 — Fashion
The 'Drop 3' collection comes from a new Alexander Wang collaboration, in which the beloved designer got help from adidas Originals.
The resulting sneakers have a highly modern aesthetic, with minimal branding, sleek builds and careful combinations of colors. One model has a burnt orange, black, brown and white colorway, with the uppers comprised of the first two hues. The thick soles have a color-blocked design, with white capping off the toes, while black and brown make up the rest of the midsoles.
The other model that's featured in the adidas Originals and Alexander Wang collaboration has an even more subdued colorway. The uppers are a light hue of gray and have black laces and heel tabs. The soles are identical to those on the previously mentioned model. Consumers can expect the sneakers to drop online and at select retailers at the beginning of April.
