Redditor Amon-a-boat's Alduin the Data Eater is Inspired by Skyrim

The Alduin the Data Eater sculpture is impressively crafted out of shattered CDs. An intricate and possibly painful project to say the least, the captivating mythical creature was inspired by the video game Skyrim, which features a dragon called Alduin the World Eater, hence the clever title of this sculpture.
Created by Redditor Amon-a-boat, who describes herself as a "17 year old girl with a 4.0 GPA that decided to make an art project out of some old blank CDs," the Alduin the Data Eater sculpture is made out of 136 blank CDs. The shards were secured to a handcrafted wireframe using hot glue and a bandsaw blade. It took an impressive 80 hours to make.
