Airbnb has unveiled its new Co-Host Network feature, designed to connect property owners with highly rated local co-hosts who can assist in managing their listings. Co-hosts available through the network can support hosts in several key areas, including setting up the property listing, determining optimal pricing and availability, managing booking requests, overseeing guest interactions, and providing on-site support for guests during their stay. They can also take care of maintenance tasks such as cleaning.
“One of the requests that we had from hosts is that they would really love to be able to find professional, high-quality cohosts with a great track record in their area whom they can trust. And they can really be completely hands-off,” Judson Coplan, VP of Product Marketing at Airbnb, said in an interview.
For Airbnb, the Co-Host Network marks a strategic expansion of its platform, providing an additional layer of support for property owners who may not have the time or resources to manage day-to-day operations themselves.
