The New York City Economic Development Corporation, in collaboration with venture capital firm Lightspeed and the community platform Supermomos, has commenced accepting applications for the AI Launch Pad program — a new initiative designed to attract artificial intelligence companies from abroad to establish a presence in New York City.
The AI Launch Pad program is part of a broader citywide International Landing Pad Network. The New York City Economic Development Corporation and Lightspeed will select ten firms that have either achieved a minimum of five million dollars in annual revenue or have secured equivalent venture funding. The program will then offer fully-subsidized support to participants, including business development services, connections to potential clients and investors, and coworking space.
