I like myself a pun as much as the next person, but when you illustrate those puns in a similar manner to these Agrimony cartoon drawings, well, what you have yourself is comedic gold. From owl and ghost tag teams using onomatopoeia to say the phrase "Boo Hoo," to severed orange halves hugging with the caption reading "You make me whole," Agrimony's illustrations are as witty as they are finely drawn.
My favorite illustration by Agrimony is the one entitled "We Suck," which features vacuums, bats, syringes, mosquitoes and other things that are synonymous with sucking drawn as cutesy cartoon characters.
Implications - Consumers have an affinity for literary wordplay because it provides them with humorous diversions from their stressful daily routines. Corporations may consider using humor in their promotional campaigns to garner consumer attention.
