A 50-year-old Vancouver woman named Isabella Mori has built an incredible tiny home that stands out because, unlike a lot of other tiny homes, it doesn't look cutesy or straight-up ugly. Mori enlisted the services of tiny home builder John McFarlane of Camera Buildings to build this custom-designed house.
The house's distinct appearance comes thanks to its Japanese-style flavour and design aesthetic. The 186 square foot modern tiny home
Mori's house proves that tiny homes don't have to look like sore thumbs. This will hopefully encourage more people to come up with creative tiny home ideas, which will certainly be welcomed given the shocking expensive real estate in cities like Vancouver, recently ranked the second most unaffordable real estate market in the world.
