The Aesh & Tweed collection features modern furniture that uses traditional materials, namely traditional woollen fabric from the Scottish isle of Bute. Although this classic tweed used more often in conventional ways, it has been given a clean and even minimal appeal in the Aesh & Tweed collection. The surfaces are smooth and the pop of purple is playful.
Designed by Georg Oehler, the Aesh & Tweed collection is comprised of a an armchair, footstool and coffee table, the latter of which doesn't boast any tweed at all, just ash wood. They were all handcrafted in a small town remotely located in the heart of the Austrian Alps. Oehler writes, "True luxury can be found in the beauty of natural material and the knowledge of where and how things are manufactured."
