While most advent calendars contain a small chocolate surprise, this advent calendar with presents is extremely personalized.
The DIY Christmas countdown uses a clothes hanger to hang the small gifts off of. For a decorative and girly look, the trinkets are contained within white and brown paper bags while tinsel is wrapped around the wire hanger. Ribbons and twine are used to hang the small bags with brightly colored numbered tags indicate on which day in December the package should be opened. This advent calendar with presents went with a pink and blue theme with gold tinsel, but you could easily customize this craft to include your own preferred color scheme (such as a more holiday-appropriate red and green).
