These Colorways for the adidas UltraBOOST Celebrate NCAA Football Teams
Riley von Niessen — August 29, 2016 — Fashion
After joining with the NCAA, or the National Collegiate Athletic Association, the adidas UltraBOOST has received a series of new updates in order to pay tribute to the non-profit association's football teams.
It's reported that each school involved will be granted its own unique adidas UltraBOOST colorway. In order to make the differences between the sneakers especially clear, the brand keeps the color variations limited to an accent on the heel, giving the whole collection a more uniform appearance.
By offering each of the association's football teams a custom colorway, the NCAA and adidas create a product that's exclusive to the players -- working to further instill a visual sense of community and appeal to a very specific group of consumers.
