Samuel Ross' A-COLD-WALL* joins forces with Timberland to mark the second Future73 project, which is made up of footwear and apparel. The designs are inspired by Brutalist and abstract architecture that is backed up by premium materials across the entire capsule. The dup highlights the 43-Eye Lug and the 6-inch Boot along with a set of apparel adorned with co-branded designs.
The duo nods to Timberland's heritage and A-COLD-WALL*'s progressive mindset, creating a perfect balance. Ross tells Hypebeast that “When we started developing this collection, I was really thinking about what I wanted [A-COLD-WALL*] products to communicate on a long-term basis, not just what I wanted them to say when they were seen on a runway. Making this collection was a new process for me, as in the past I’ve usually designed from my imagination whereas here I designed from a historical reference point.”
