Podcast personalities from 'One Bad Mother' created this quirky set of ‘Parent Merit Badges,’ which aims to honor the accomplishments of parents. The badges are a reward system to praise parents for doing one of the hardest jobs.
The badges honor the accomplishments of parents who have conducted acts such as getting their child to sleep for four hours straight. This act is congratulated with ‘The Sleep Badge.’ There is also humorous badges such as the ‘You Got Milk’ badge, which states “You went out for milk... and came back afterwards. You could have used the opportunity to run away and start a new life! But you didn’t! You came back. Good job! Enjoy your milk.”
Since parenting is kind of an entrepreneurial job, the team from One Bad Mother created these badges to provide each hard-working parent with a note of encouragement. These badges are currently being funded through a Kickstarter campaign to raise awareness for parents and help fund the project so the badges will available for purchase.
