The Ableton Push Music Production is Enabled by MPE
The new Ableton Push marks the third iteration of the system as the Push 2 was released in 2015. Now, 8 years later, the Ableton Push is released and it comes in two configurations as well as a basic controller for the price of $999 or with the processor for $1999.
When users have the processor, it is able to function entirely as a standalone instrument and offers tight integration systems with Ableton Live 11 when it is connected to a computer. Other features include the 64 MPE-enabled pads that are integrated perfectly with Live's new updates and incorporated battery for untethered creation. If users choose to keep the controller-only variant, there is also the option to upgrade to a DIY kit later this year.
