Exposing the alienation that comes with being a superhero, ‘A Lonely God’ depicts heroes isolated from the world. Created by designer Cosmosnail, the illustrations poignantly demonstrate the downside of being a superhuman being. Though having super powers or advanced gadgetry may seem like a godsend, being different from others means being isolated from the general population.
'A Lonely God' features a wide array of superhero favorites such as Superman and Wolverine. Cosmosnail also included Batman, Spiderman and Ironman in the collection. Each hero is performing one of their daily crime-fighting tasks such as patrolling or researching. No matter what they are doing, each hero is seen doing it alone. To further emphasize the loneliness in each situation, the heroes are placed against an expansive background.
