The 8-Bit Mario Flag Puts a Literal Spin on Flying Your Geek Flag
Michael Hines — December 2, 2012 — Tech
Now you can literally fly your geek flag thanks to the 8bit Mario Flag from Etsy merchant James Bit. Bit's flag is designed to look like the one that adorned the flag poles at the end of every level in the original Super Mario Bros. game.
The 8bit Mario Flag measures 2' x 3' and is made out of nylon, making it suitable for outdoor use. There have been many, many Mario tributes created by Etsy sellers, but nothing like this flag has ever been seen before.
The only thing that could make this package sweeter is if James Bit were to throw in some fireworks and a small castle, but that doesn't seem like it will happen anytime soon.
