123D Creature Program for iPad Lets Users Design and Export 3D Designs

Autodesk is giving creative iPad owners the opportunity to take their 3D designs on the go.
Autodesk is a company best known for 3D design tools that allow users to create their own creatures, architecture and sculptures. The iPad version takes things one step further by not only allowing users to embark on a simple user interface to design creatures on the go, but also allowing users a plethora of interesting export options. Once a 3D design is complete, the user can then export the design to their PC, share the designs through social media and export them as 3D mesh for 3D printing. Since not everyone has a 3D printer handy, the app even allows customers to directly export their designs to a company called Sculpteo for 3D printing and direct shipping to the user's doorstep. For a price of course.
It's pretty impressive that 3D designs are so within reach for the average iPad user.
