Trend Hunter has featured the amazing work of the multi-talented Australian body painting artist Emma Hack twice before. She enters the spotlight here once again with a completely new collection of her work.
Based on the notion of human perception and illusion, Emma creates (or sources from others such as Florence Broadhurst) backgrounds against which naked painted bodies (and sometimes animals) are placed. These painted bodies then blend in with the background she created. The bodies are so successfully merged and camouflaged that sometimes it is hard to distinguish between the backdrop and the subjects.
This magnificent body art which is designed to create the illusion of a flat surface makes for excellent wall paper.
