The 2025 Ford Explorer will be the automotive brand's first vehicle to run the Android Automotive-based infotainment system to provide drivers with an immersive digital experience inside the cabin. The Digital Experience will feature built-in Google Maps alongside Google Assistant, access to the Google Play Store, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and digital HVAC controls. The information is displayed and kept accessible on the modest 13.2-inch touchscreen, while the 12.3-inch instrument cluster will also be able to display maps to keep drivers informed with their eyes on the road.
